The Indian government has extended its import restrictions on low-ash metallurgical coke for another six months, according to a fresh notification issued by the government.
The updated order, effective July 1, 2025, will remain in place until December 31, 2025.
Metallurgical coke, particularly the low-ash variant, is a key raw material used in steel manufacturing and other industrial processes.
